I got the invite I was looking for tonight….. It is always a very good idea to go out with a buddy on the ice.. especially early and late when the condition are not always the safest..

So… Who else is putting the steel blades to the fresh ice ?

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !!!

I was out today. It felt good to scratch the ice itch. Hitting it hard again tomorrow.

Was out today in the Aitkin area with 6 inches of ice and caught some crappies…stunning sunset and the wind died to nothing right at dark. I love sitting out in the open on the ice as the world becomes peaceful.

I thought they were called ditch parrots or are you shooting the hens? I’d be doing that also if my partner hadn’t backed out on me….so I’m heading to Red Lake tomorrow to put some eyes on the ice. have fun.

Does anyone know what the ice is like between the north metro and Mille Lacs? Thinking about hitting up a few lakes by Cambridge or Mora. Be safe out there!
