    What are your favorite profiles/colors for these plastics? I have heard they are dynamite…

    They all work well just have to find the right jig/plastic and color combo. they have a variety pack that has a bunch of different kinds in it. Get that and try to find out what works for you.

    Last year was my first year with Makis and any of the smaller styles in orange or purple behind a tungsten jig, usually gold plated, worked great for me here in southern WI.

    There are a lot more options on Scott’s website that are not in Clams lineup… http://www.makiplastic.com/bait/

    He has an 80-100 piece ProPack that would let you try out various types and color. I had great success with the Jamei and Scudii in motoroil and purple last winter on Perch.

    Yep, get the propack. Good selection of baits in the propack to keep a guy busy on the ice. It is worth the price paid for it.
