I’d like to fish some Mississippi backwaters this year but don’t have a clue where to start. Can anyone share some pointers as to where I could park and walk out to some fishable areas? Private message would be fine. Thanks

Tom is right. Just driving across the bridge towards Nelson, WI, you can find a couple of miles of possibilities for just about any species you want! And there are more possibilities just South past the school.
Wabasha is an area I plan on targeting this year!
