Thinking of buying one for the fish house. How big will I need? I want a quiet one. 8 X 12 Permanent. Are there things I should look out for on a used one?

If you run multiple items, or for example a pizza oven, you’re going to want to get the 2000, not the 1000. They are nice and quiet. Make sure the oil has been changed regularly. Ours (1000) requires a change every 50 hours, and it’s very simple to do.

There is a shop in the Minneapolis area selling new 2000 series Yamaha and Honda generators for $929 – both are excellent. Don’t know if it is ok to post the shop’s name, so PM and I can get you the info and owner’s em.

Thanks for your input. I have a line on a couple of used ones. This will be the upgrade for the year on the fish house. Addicting habit we have.
