Ice Fishing prediction

    Becker Lake in Richmond, MN was completely froze over this morning. Most of the others I saw just had a skim around the edges.

    Here is the the St. Louis river in Cloquet…I went out to our yard at work in the morning and saw it was all ice, which got me even more pumped… I’m thinking I may be out the last weekend of deer season

    Yup, I posted it for 2 reasons.

    Not calling you out, just wouldn’t be surprised to see you inching across some skim ice with a life jacket on to satisfy your ice fishing drive! Heck, I’ve been eyeballing some tiny ponds to just go drill some holes to soothe my itch.

    If only today didn’t get so warm Today it is 41 degrees and sunny with 10-15 mph winds Hopefully the next few days are colder than predicted and not warmer, there are just too many deer hunters up here praying for “better weather” to them.
