Bought this from Thorne Bros at the Blaine Hardwater Expo.

Awesome concept, why didn’t I come up with it?

    Beam Outdoors makes them

Warm Hands this season while hole hoppin! Did I mention a spot for a hand warmer?

My concern is the sensitivity might go down with that on…What do you think?

Why? Notice the reel foot and rod are both inside the mitt.

At the show I thought so too when I first saw it but it really doesn’t seem to. It lets me hold directly onto my rod so I don’t think it will take any sensitivity away.

I saw that when I was clicking through the vendors, since I didn’t make it out there. I don’t know that I would use it for bluegills and crappies. I find myself just taking my gloves off and back on as needed. But for bigger species where you might be jigging a while between fish I think it would be nice. I as pleasantly surprised at the price too.

So who carries those. Got a few guys I fish with that need some so I dont have to listen to them about cold hands or have to quit fishing early.

So am I assuming correctly this is not removable? Meaning can the rod be removed from the mitt? It would be nice if the glove had like a zipper or something up by the fingers which would allow the angler to remove the rod if desired and then if it gets cold again just re-zip the rod back in the mitt.

I attached another picture to show how the rod fits in. Just velcros, seems to fit all my rods, and has a spot for a hand warmer right where the rod goes in (they said it was so the handwarmer was on the fingers vs. back on the hand.

I bought mine from Thorne, but when i walked through Reeds booth they saw it and said they were selling them too. $29.99.

    $35

MPLSPug – Agreed, Thorne Had them at 35, but they were giving 10% off, but reeds said they would likely retail at 29.99 to beat thorne’s prices.

Well in that case this is pretty dog gone neat. Might have to get one for my uncle. Most of the time he has his hand warmers warming his hands in the truck on the way to the lake . This might just be the perfect remedy for his cold hands! Does it feel comfortable? And also is there enough room to use other grips besides the pistol or pencil grip?

LOL my fishing partner goes thru Brandy withdrawals at 4:30 pm. This year he has orders to bring a flask or stay home.
