I picked up one of these fine units today. An I was updating it, I noticed inside the bag there is a black strap on the bottom. Is that supposed to wrap around the battery or handle to secure the unit when carrying it? I couldnt get it around when I put it back in the case.
If it’s a Velcro strap & there isn’t one securing your battery, then it should thread through the plastic base to secure your battery. Otherwise I have no idea. Pull your unit out of its case & it s/b straightforward.

The one holding the battery is on already. The strap looks like a continuation of the red handle if that makes sense.
Mine is last years model so maybe they improved the handle. It’s the only weakness IMHO. Someone in the know will post and hopefully have an answer.
mine has a carry handle stap on the inside so that when you put your hand in the bags handle it is there to lift from the bottom. not sure if that’s what you meant or if thats what marcum intended. mine was setup by the previous owner
