Looking for Lodging on Upper Red Lake Mn but not sleeper houses. We are looking to rent a cabin of some type. Any recommendations would be appreciated! We will be looking for early January for a booking.

    THanks!

Back in the day Buddy Hillman took good care of me in the winter with 6 man sleeper ice houses. Is he still around?

This phone is listed on the internet (218) 647-8504

I just reread your post and I realize this is not what you were looking for

We have one booked the 2nd weekend in Dec with westwind. If you check out their website they have a calender that shows what’s available for whatever date you want.

Cookie runs a decent outfit (Cookie’s on Red Lake). I would avoid Rogers’s Resort like the plague.

Mort’s is another place I highly recommend.

. Terrible people. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wouldn’t ask them for a bucket of water if my truck was on fire. Awful attitudes. Especially the woman.

Thankfully Mort’s was right next door and more than willing to help us out, provide us service and take our money despite being 100% full that weekend. Mort’s has been getting our money ever since.

Walleye can be caught all over that lake. Customer service is #1 for me.

Been staying at West Wind for years now. Get a lakeside cabin. Great set up over there. Went out of Rogers a time or two and haven’t had any bad experiences with customer service or anything like that. If my truck was on fire though I’d take water from anyone.
