I want safe ice. If we have to endure winter… Safe ice early would be a great start.

I took my TUC Quick Tip out in the boat the other day just to try it out, and now I’m even more excited to get it on hard water! I’m also really looking forward to chasing bull gills this winter with the new VMC Tingler spoon. I think some of the UV colors will really work nice in some of the dark water lakes I fish!

Picked up a mint 2002 Panther 2-up for dirt cheap this spring to get out on the ice earlier this year and get my little guy on some trail rides. Mounted my Humminbird 797 to a blue box to use for a gps, and might rig it for fishing! Oh and a new Stryker ice suit was added late last season, and man was it warm! I’m counting the days!

As always new rods, IM gonna add the Fl-28 to the flashers arsenal and give it a season. New guardian suit from Striker brands, a bunch of new clam tackle, including either a scout widemouth, or x1, and a warrior. Got a ton of new stuff coming from PK lures including their new paint colors and the new pro slender spoons from Custom Jigs. I think that nails it down.

Wish list would be a trip to winnipeg.

I’m most excited about trying out the new rods I’ve created over this last year and the new pan-fish rockers I found. More than anything though I’m the most excited to just get on the ice and fire up the jiffy and hear that fantastic rumble, and smell that two stoke exhaust once again.

I have two sets up done up.. One is a 32″ and one is a 36″ Quick and both have Shimano Sedona 500’s on them… Now I just need to decide what line to put on them !!!

I like the feel of the extra fast tip with a good medium back bone…. I think this will make a fantastic panfish rod that will also be able to handle them pesky LM Bass that own me with my lighter rods..

There is a place here that has some very large stripe bass thu the ice… this rod i think is going to shine running the jiggn raps for them !!!

Would like to try out some new walleye gear this year, I’ve got plenty of panfish gear, but I’m looking forward to picking up some decent walleye sticks, and plenty of lures to chase them with. I hear Striker has some new suits coming up, I’ll definitely be picking one of those up.
