I have been wanting to use my Ice 45 for the up coming fall crappie bite. Hummingbird does not make an open water xducer. So I went to the workshop and came up with a mount for the ice ducer. I have it complete and mounted to my trolling motor. It works great and just like on the ice its Fish On.
Impressive. I also love to use my flasher in the boat. I clamp my mesuring board to the side of the boat and hang the transducer off the end to get it out from the boat. It would be nice to have it more ridged than swinging from the cable.

It does work better this way. I have some short rods that I use. That way I can keep my jig in view.
