’12-’13 vs. ’13-’14 model year LX-7’s

    How can I make sure if I buy a LX-7 for the upcoming ice season that I don’t get a leftover one built for last year? I heard at least the case is different? Maybe more? Who knows the starting build date or serial #s so I can check before I order one, or walk out of a store with one.

    Does it matter? I put the upgrades on mine and it is current.

    I am not sure they changed anything other than software upgrades.

    There is a slight difference in how the case and carrying handle work together. Other than that they are the same unit. Only way to know for sure is go look at it before you buy.

    Does Gander Mtn. in Woodbury MN have them on display right now?
