I am tossing around the idea of picking up a TUC ice rod this off season but not sure what one to get? I mostly target perch with 1/16 – 1/8 oz spoons, any suggestions?

I have a 28″ precision. I also fish with the same size spoons, and I wouldn’t change a thing, it’s awesome! If you’re fishing in a shelter anything longer than 28″ will be too long.

T Ando is right on. That 28″ Precision is an awesome stick for fishing in a shelter. If the majority of your fishing is outside a 32″ Precision would be my goto setup.

Either way you will be very pleased!

You can’t go wrong with the Precision for perch. However from what I’m hearing another option might be the Quicktip. I haven’t got my hands on one yet but I am planning on chasing some perch around with mine just as soon as the ice comes back!

Ice is only a few months away!!!

Come down to the shop one night we are starting to gear up for ice season, you may be interested in the new rod lineup.

Our hours are limited due to we are building a lot of the time. Just call me if you ever are planning a trip up there. I try to work around peoples schedules because I know that everyone is busier in the modern age.
