I am tossing around the idea of picking up a TUC ice rod this off season but not sure what one to get? I mostly target perch with 1/16 – 1/8 oz spoons, any suggestions?

I have a 28″ precision. I also fish with the same size spoons, and I wouldn’t change a thing, it’s awesome! If you’re fishing in a shelter anything longer than 28″ will be too long.

T Ando is right on. That 28″ Precision is an awesome stick for fishing in a shelter. If the majority of your fishing is outside a 32″ Precision would be my goto setup.
Either way you will be very pleased!
June 13, 2013 at 3:10 am #1177548You can’t go wrong with the Precision for perch. However from what I’m hearing another option might be the Quicktip. I haven’t got my hands on one yet but I am planning on chasing some perch around with mine just as soon as the ice comes back!
