My thoughts and prayers. It sure sounds like he was a very lucky man to have good family with him until the end. He’ll always be with you on your future trips.

Nutz, sorry for your loss. I just went through the same thing last month. I lost my father in law,
(who was more of a dad to me than my own dad ever was) to cancer. He had been my hunting and fishing partner since I met my wife. We were suppposed to fish the annual walleye tourney together next weekend, one we have been doing together for the last 18yrs. Gonna be a hard to fish it this year with a new partner without thinking of him the whole weekend.

Dear Lord thank you for gift of salvation.
May you meet IceNutz Father at the heavenly gate’s and guide him to a freshly drilled hole, cleaned of ice with his favorite ice stick, bait bucket and fillet knife at hand.

God Bless you and your loved ones at this time of sadness!

May your father now rest peacefully in the arms of our heavenly Father, May you find Peace and Comfort in knowing he in now in his eternal home. May the Lord Bless you with all of the fine memories of many years of growing, living and enjoying the outdoors together.

    Amen!
