Well I bought my new LX-5 at the boat show FEB 13 from MG, lasted a week and had problems, brought it in they gave me a new one no problem…Last night just released a crappie and it splashed a little when it kicked and all of a sudden my flasher starts blinking weirdly and a solid red line shows up at 2ft ( a red line like whats at the top of the flasher)…But if I hit my IR button the red mark would go down until it was in the bottom…Anyway brought it in to MG after work Russ looked at said it was a botched unit and said he’ll have a new one for me Monday…No hassles whatsever…very happy I bought it from them…Hoping the 3rd flasher is the charm, otherwise I may just stick with my VX-1….Guess that crappie got the last laugh….should have thrown him on the ice
