After watching the video on Basin Crappie im wondering if the same tactics would work on this lake. What do you guys think.

Looks like a keeper, not too big to figure it out, two basin’s to try. As long as the crappies are in the lake I would try it. Good Luck

perfect looking lake for suspended crappies. Get the locator out and see if they are hungry.

Just looking at that map I would think you should have fun chasing crappies around one of the 2 or maybe both of the basins, as long as there are crappies in it! Lots will also depend on the bottom composition hopefully there’s some mud in those basins. Also this time of year especially, you might find that they have started the move up shallower toward spawning areas.
Good luck! And don’t forget auger gas, that’s the key to finding and staying on them.

Thanks for the info guys. The lake is 700 acres and known for crappie and big gills. But it gets heavy pursue and alot of guys fish shallow weed beds all winter without much luck in the middle of the day. So I’m guessing the fish move back to the deeper basins. Our ice season is over for the year. But I’m trying to learn as much about this lake and crappie fishing before next ice season because i will be fishing in a big tournament and it will be my first.
