    Just an FYI,

We just got back from Sportsmans for our second trip this year..Came back with a limit of walleyes and saugers. Also 27 big tullibees for smoking. Biggest walleyes were a 25 & 26 and a 14.5 in sauger. One fish i also could not move off the bottom…All on Chubby Darters…What a great season of ice fishing

Thanks for posting the report. Looks like a fun trip. What size Chubby Darter were you using?

#4 Rainbow Dace color from Red Rock Wilderness store…We would have not caught all those fish without a showdown…What a product!! Those 3 walleyes we are holding are 18, 18.5 and 18.75 all caught in an hour

Great work guys! I’m debating whether or not to make the run up there next weekend. Were other groups doing as well as you did?

Took our house out of long point this past weekend, fished in about 30fow caught 70-80 eyes under 10″ and another 10-15 from 15-19″. Fished all day Saturday and until noon yesterday with most of the “bigger” fish Sunday morning.

I’m hearing most roads are closed for the season now with this storm..? Adrians was out 14 miles i think and they are only saying they’ll open up to 5 miles now. With the inconsisant reports and snow, sounds like it’s time to switch gears to open water.

We fished Saturday and Sunday and did well.

Saturday we did a bunch of running around, fished early in about 16′ off the gap and got lots of fish, they were just all small. We moved out to 32′ on the border in from Sporty’s houses and only caught one 22″ walleye and a handful of Tulibee in a couple hours. We then ran out to the west side of Bridges after lunch and got a few nice sauger, then we ran back and setup in about 17′ off pine and did really well. Probably caught 20+ fish from 5:45 to 8pm.

Sunday we skipped the early shallow setup because of the sub-zero conditions, we fished from 9am to 6pm setup 24′ deep off pine and did super catching a mix of nice sauger and walleye all day.
