Random on ice transportation…

While loading my gear up in the truck a couple weeks ago, I saw a good ole John Deere lawn tractor loaded with ice gear, headed out. My new Polaris 4×4 atv struggles through the snow in places. I can imagine this old boy got to know his shovel very well this day! Lucky for him, he had 2 coolers. (can’t see em in the pic) Hopefully they contained a few Budweisers for his efforts.

Anyone else see other strange ice transportation?

I don’t have any pics… But I once saw a kid about 12 yrs old in a motorized wheelchair fishing right off a plowed road on lake onalaska. Was in the dredge hole by schaeffers, even pulled a shack and a buddy out.

It was more uplifting than anything…he needed the wheelchair. His buddy set up the shack and helped him in it.

Since I don’t have a snowmobile or 4 wheeler, I enlist my labrador to help me tow my otter lodge out on the ice. He has a sled dog harness and along stretchy cable and tows like a champ. We also participate in a sport called skijoring on cross country skis, great fun.

I saw a VW Bug pull out one time with holes in the floor. They drilled then fished through tubes into the car. It was odd.
