    I hope everyone’s season is going well…

I havent had much time to post lately so the following pics are a couple 3 weeks old. I figured they still had some entertainment value though. This was from a solo trip. These fish went back to be caught another day. Enjoy!

I have more pics from the last few weeks, hopefully will get them up soon.

    Tight lines guys!

Thanks guys. I like catching them more than looking at them though.

Pictures really don’t do big panfish justice, imo…

2 weeks ago was the last time I was out. That was a 2 week stretch where I was on the ice 10 of the 14 days. I told my wife I’d take a couple weeks off to get things done around the house. Next week, it’s game on again!

Do you tip your darter with a minnow head or waxies?

    Typically no.

It alters the “built in” action that the Chubby has. A few years ago, a buddy introduced me to the CD. I struggled with it at first but since made myself learn how to fish it. Glad I did too… Once you build up some confidence fishing them, it’s game over!

How is the ice out there? How about snow cover? And ease of access?

    Wow! Awesome perch!

Perch like that could cause me to stop walleye fishing for a day.

Those are great perch. Makes me want to take a trip to North Dakota some day. I have a lot of trips on my list of places I’d like to fish.
