Hi all,
Has anyone been to any of the Polk Co. lakes over the last week or so? Just wondering what the ice conditions are like, how much snow on top, how’s the bite been, etc…?? I’m hoping Jeff Jerry will chime in, he’s been off the radar for a while.
Not looking for secret locations ( I have my own 
), just general info. Looking to get out late ice.

i drove out this am in burnette county atleast 30 inches of good ice around here. bite was good for about an hour and then someone turned off the switch
I was off on vacation Sat – Thurs of last week. The ice is 20+ inches. Prior to today’s snow it was getting tough for even trucks to get around up there last week. They’re getting stuck. I got the 4 wheeler stuck a couple times as well. The gills and crappies are starting to bite a bit better. Still need to pick thru them. They are biting throughout the day and I’m finding them away from the weeds and on the muddier bottom parts of the lake. If you need a more pin point location give me a pm.
