I’m tired of my wind poles getting thrashed about in my Otter Medium Pro sled, they always seem to be in the way when moving gear around, has anybody installed some sort of mounting hardward for the sides of the sled? It would be nice to have them out of the way on the inside wall of the sled and not on the sled floor…

Couldn’t you mount some velcro inside somewehere like the velcro rod holders for the deck of a boat?

X2 use wide Double sided velcro and attach with stainless washers and some aluminum pop rivets

I like the rows of velcro attached to the inside tub walls idea and then just put a couple of velcro loops on the poles, then stick them to the inside tub walls…will try it out..

if it’s the wild with a bench seat can’t you install some sort of tube holders or something that you hang on the wall and pop the broom handles into? Get’s me to thinking though!!!

To the bottom of the bench would save room too.

I have done this with the foam covered wire ties and it works pretty well. If you don’t have a bench, maybe just store them in a piece of pvc or lighter weight tube to keep them all together and protect them.

The problem with putting the poles into a PVC tube is that the rear wind pole is longer than the bottom of the sled, so it wouldn’t lay flat, thus take up more space.. I like the velcro idea and will give it a shot this summer when the velcro strips will stick better on the plastic.
