Originally started looking for pike on a small west central wisconnie pothole a couple weeks ago and kept getting minnow trips upon reaching the hole undoubtably there was a tiger striped shiner thief struggling with a 4 inch shiner, after about 5-6 of these we started bringing a jig rod to every flag and got about a dozen between 12 and 14 the next few outings consisted of running to one tip down after another and the pike went on the back burner ended up with two weeks of solid perch destruction with maybe a dozen between 13.5 and 14.75 with a couple real freaks popping loose, as they say when life gives you perch start the fryer, but all good things must come to an end and the shallow bay that was so good is almost froze to the bottom so the searching starts again, oh by the way anyone got any good walleye/perch spots from shore near lacrosse wife’s got a conference there first week in April so probably tag along and get some rivertime in, not very familiar with the big river any tips would be appreciated
