Now that everybody has been on the ice for a while and tried out all of their new ice fishing products, what has been your favorite new addition to your ice fishing repertoire? I’m doing recon to see what I need to look at next year or for any last ice sales. My favorite is the purchase of a SM six inch auger worm, it is so much lighter than what I had, and also the new long-rod I built for shallow panfish. Lets hear it guys and gals, your 2013 Best Innovation Ice Fishing Award goes too…….?

Set my HDS 5 up for ice fishing on a Genz Box. Love it!

JM Pro Thermal 1 man shelter. Awesome for my fishing style, I can go out in any weather now and still be as mobile as I would without a shelter.

    Loving my 30″ TUC noodle.

Okuma SLV 2/3. Not new but my first year using one after trying the EC inline. Okuma SLV are awesome for price vs. performance and it’s my go to in up to 20′.

My modified portable ice fishing tournament bucket. Basically a 6 gallon Sit and Fish bucket with a ram mounted FL-20 with a battery in the base, and and a styrofoam fish bucket over the top of the battery.

Another favorite would be my 28″ Power Noodle Outside rod paired with a 6061 Black Betty.
