Got a Jiffy Ice auger bought it used 2years ago ran fine end of last the thing quit running, took it in carb was cracked, took them all summer to get a replacement finally got it back. It starts and runs but as soon as any pressure is put on it, it quits. Restarts its not bad gas. Luckily I didnt pay the place to fix it.

Anywhere in the south metro that is good at fixing augers? It has a Tecumseh engine.

D-Rock is way up on the north side in New Brighton I think.
Try going to Northern Tool in Burnsville. They’re an authorized StrikeMaster and Jiffy service center. I’ve dealt with them twice and are good to work with.

My buddy took his strikelite to D rock because oil was leaking out of gaskets at middle of the motor, They replaced all of them in the motor and it started doing it again and they were pretty rude and accused him of laying down on wrong side of motor,,,,He is very careful and alwayd has the red tag up. Has a milk crate cut to hold it perfect in his truck also, Not saying d rock isn’t a good place but the way they treated him and not fixing the problem after repairing it again for a second time in 30 days it started leaking again yesterday….
