    Check out what just came in the mail. Now I’ll be fishing in style. A new shiny transducer arm. No more flexing cheap looking arm. It even has my name engraved, try to pick up my flasher by accident now, I dare ya!

    I posted this same post on Iceshanty.com and it was immediately deleted because it was showing off the arm which was not made by a site sponsor. Just shows how that board has turned into a craphole. THIS IS WHY I LOVE IDO! We can post what we want (to a limit) without stuff being deleted for stupid reasons.

    I don’t know if the 7 uses the same arm as the mechanical ones… but I know the guy who did it for me owns a lx-7 (or 9 maybe?) so he would know. I’ll PM you the contact info, he’s a member here as well.

    Yes…They are the same…
    I bought one from shaley for my LX6 and put the factory one on my old Vx1 that did not have the slot for the cord.
    Fit perfect and they looked exactly the same.

    Yep. I guess the guy that made it got warned not to post his arms there anymore without buying a sponsorship package. So when I posted a picture of the one I bought since I was pretty excited about it, it got removed and I got warned that if I posted it again I would be banned.

    That is how NOT to run a site. I got several PMs from people who said they had the same thing happen to them and will not be visiting that site anymore.

    Here is the one Shane made for me after mine just broke off when it was -5 and all I did was move it back into the case. It will never happen again!!

    I made those arms for John @ TUCR, just finished them up today at work. Thats what he wanted on the arms, so thats what he gets

    And yeah, we worked out a nice little trade for the arms, both parties are happy
