I have a Lazer Pro. Routine as follows: find the spot to fish, grab auger, prime 4-5x, choke on full, pull 1-2x until I hear it “pop”, move choke to half, pull until it runs, let auger warm up on half choke, grab GPS and mark spots to drill, set up the otter, put everything into the otter, grab auger and move choke to open, give 1-2 throttle pulls, then drill drill drill.

Each time I make a move, I’ll always let the auger warm up before drilling holes

    My routine is as follows:

    Prime, prime, prime, prime, prime
    Pull, pull, pull
    Adjust choke
    Curse
    Prime, prime
    Pull, pull
    Adjust choke
    Warm up
    Drill

That is pretty much how mine works except there is no prime on my Lazer Mag Express with the Tecumseh.

I have to keep throttle on it for a while then I can leave it to warm up otherwise she will just stop.

seven pushes of the primer bulb, full choke 1 pull, it will turn over and die, turn off choke, pull

I can get it to stay running after one pull if i can get my hand back to the choke fast enough to turn it off while it sputters.

this is with the 2.5 solo

warm up for 10-20 and drill

I think it’s just not getting enough gas. I had a new carb kit put on it this fall, but I don’t think they tuned the carb. I’ve been trying to tune it for a few days now, but that’s a finnicky gig to do.
