I have fished the big pond many times this winter, on pretty much all sides of the lake. My question is where are the perch? Ive yet to catch one this winter. Has anyone else had any luck finding any?

the smallmouth bass have ate all of them. the no keep law has to be lifted and we need to reduce the population of the smallmouth in the lake

I fished out there over the weekend and picked up two 10 1/2-inch perch, but they were just loners, didn’t have any other marks with them. We were fishing about 4 1/2-miles out of Garrison Sports on a hump by Pelbergs Flat.

Did catch some nice walleyes too.

I have been out twice and only caught one. 11 1/2 inch. Many large walleyes, but only one perch. Buddy of mine caught a half dozen on Seguchie. Not a whole lot of size to them though.

We had 3 guys up this weekend. Saturday we fished 4 spots on the east side and we got 3 keepers. I think I only marked what I would consider a jumbo maybe 5-6 times the whole day while not marking many small fish either. Sunday we fished until noon on the north end same 3 keepers but marked more fish in general but the fish were alone so it’s hard to excite a single fish. Hopefully they start to show up in the coming weeks.
