I know it hasn’t formally come out yet, but I am very interested in this rod. Before making the big purchase sight unseen I wanted to see if anyone here has tried this rod yet? Ideally I would like to get my hands on one first but am not sure when that would happen unless they have some at the upcoming Sportsmans Show in Minneapolis. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I have 2 36″ precision rods as I live in ind. there was no way I could see one first so there was a few e-mails and phone calls to adam at tuc rods, I just cant say enough good things about them, we have had next to no ice here this year so north to wis. i went to try them out they were riged as a dead stick with a small to med. fathead the tip would move up and down both ways an inch or more, bites were easy to see 14″ perch were fun but the 3 1/2# bass gave up fast best rods I have you need to call them you wont be sorry.

    Well done Adam and John

The quicktip is still in the development stage. Cal has been testing along with a few other people. It is a pretty sweet rod.

Call me or email me if you have more questions.

    Thank you

Are you building these on MHX blanks? I see you noodles are apparently built on them? Looks so anyhow with the near identical green tips.

No we use our own blanks that we have designed. We have worked hard with our engineers to develop all our blanks. Our noodle rods have the same hi viz green color tip because we found the green is the easiest color to pick up when sight fishing.
