Are they any better than a Black/White?

I have an older Marcum Vs 380 and it’s very grainy and not good at all in low light conditions like the first thing in the morning and later afternoon before dusk

Wondering if the color ones are any better in low light conditions?

I recorded 4 days worth on the miss p7 in freezing drizzle, overcasr, 10+ inches of ice and nearly a foot of snow cover. Scroll down to the lx9 video tests . The last of the vids was ran until dark out

Here’s a MarCum 825sc in 50 feet of water. Zero Light.

We were drifting down stream in a boat.

I am thinking about getting the vs 380. I mainly fish in less than 30 feet of clear water during the day (although the ice is usually snow covered) How does the vs 380 perform under these conditons?

During the day they work just fine.

I was in South Dakota last week and fished in 32′ of water and had good clarity.

It’s the first light in the morning and later in the day before dusk is when i don’t get good clarity.
