Guys, my Frabill Trekker shack has a tear in it on one of the bottom flaps that lie on the ice. I was thinking I’d maybe just use some fishing line braid to sew it. I know Frabill sells a patch, but basically it just needs to be sewed together. Any of you ever done a repair like this? Any advice?

I sewed one in the past with leftover Fireline, and used a patch over that.No issues after that.It was a 2-man Fishtrap.

It’s not that hard to operate a sewing needle.
February 11, 2013 at 7:49 pm #1140522Every man should learn to sew just for times like these! I couldn’t make anything, but I know enough to repair stuff when needed. Just back and forth like you are stitching up your leg…
February 11, 2013 at 8:30 pm #1140543Fair point, guys. I shall attempt to do some sewing. No laughing if you see my handiwork out on the ice.
