    you can put on a bigger hook and jig for pike with it

    I have caught a pile of crappies with them..

    Basin Lake Fishing with either spikes, waxies or a minnow head…

    x2 on bigger hooks and for pike…I think people use them for lakers too I thought I heard..

    Personally, I find them too inconvenient for the laker fishing I do which is often in deeper water (100′ – 240′) with lots of current. While the flutter is great, the time that it takes to get them to the bottom (and keeping them under your hole) and the impact current has on them are both too great. If they end up offering one of similar size but with extra thickness (like the 5/16 oz. version is in comparison to the 1/8 oz.) I might consider them for lakers and whitefish but I find them very difficult to fish deep.
