Fishing is a little slow right now Ederd and Lupe are the only ones I know of that caught a few small ones. Every 1 is kind of scattered around right now.

Thanks for the report. Looks like a nice turnout. I was really looking forward to being there. Truck was all packed and everything. Instead, I am sitting at home nursing a hacking cough and runny nose. Hope some one catches a fish or two.

Another outing with great friends both old and new, like Jesse said no size to the fish, Lupe and I caught several 4″crappies, 1 3″perch, and 1 small gill. The food, drink, and bs was top notch!! Now it’s time to relax and get ready for the drive home in the morning!

Great time today renewing old acquaintances and making new ones. Even though the bite sucked the conversation was lively and the food absolutely wonderful. And then of course there’s Ederd’s Apple Pie . Thanks Jeff & Randy for putting this together. Hope everyone has safe travels home. Here’s a few pics from today.

Just got off the ice a little while ago Hate to put an end to a few straight days of fishing. But if there is a way to end a few day run, today was it! I tried to take a head count when we were eating, but a few had to leave early and a few we out fishing. I guess we had about 35 stop out

I really appreciated the effort by many to come a long distance to deal with a crappy bite most importantly was the friendships we build here on IDO. Heck of a great group of people, plus its nice to put a face to a name and a handshake.

    Couple people to thank;

Lupy (& Ed)- That potato soup was awesome! plus I heard a lot of compliments on the chili. Cooking up a batch that size to share took a lot of work and I know everyone appreciated it very much!

Everyone else that brought food to share > Thanks! If anyone left hungry I would be surprised. More than enough food for all. I’m sorry I don’t remember by name on who brought what, but we had a good spread!

Mike, that little grill did a big job! Thanks for bringing it along. We needed it Also thanks for taking the time to get a bunch of pics of the group. I know you were roaming around for some photo ops, but the fish didn’t cooperate

Jeff (Mudshark) Thanks for getting this started and helping everyone out with their questions!

Soldiersdad – Thanks for getting hotel/motel info together. I know a lot of guys stayed over a night or two and made good use of the information!

Lastly, I WAS NOT TRYING TO PARK THE WHEELER IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK. I got a little more traction than expected when the chained tires hit the ramp and brakes don’t work well on a ice filled trailer. But, I’m glad I was able to provide a little entertainment for those that were there to the end.

Rumor is we might try to get a spring walleye GTG put together

    Rested up,Sunday chores done.
First off,a big thanks to everyone that showed up and those that helped- it was great time
As has been stated before,It was great to see my old friends and meet new ones, there is a reason this was my 5th straight.
I hope that those who never fished the lake had fun and will come back again to fish both open water and ice again soon..

My biggest surprise of the day had nothing to with fishing though…..It was that all them Habenaro sticks just vanished

A big thanks to all that contributed and we’ll see ya next year,if not sooner

Sounds like you guys had a great time fish or not.

That’s kinda the way the gtg’s go. It’s always a bonus to get on the fish. But the company always makes up for it.

Sure hope to join you folks next year!
