As far as tackle goes small slender spoons will pick off aggressive fish. I always have waxies and eurolarva with me. I like to use little atoms plastics like the nuggies and wedgees with a tungsten jig. good to experiment with colors. Custom jigs makes good stuff to. Shrimpos,ratsos purists ,rat finkies all good. Drill like mad and have fun. Move and keep moving for those basin crappies. Cycle through holes that were productive as there may be bugs in that area or other bait fish.
