    Is back in business… had a problem, got a reply via email in 20 minutes asking for the address to send the replacement parts.

    You guys that are calling 20 times and getting no response via email, are you threatening them or something?
    This is only the 2nd time I’ve had to contact them and both times they replied via email within the hour. Not an automated reply either, you can tell the person is really reading it and answering.

    What happened to the vx? I’ve got a head unit coming today to replace mine… Hope this fixes mine. Never thought I would have issues with this 500 dollar unit. Great service department!

    I tred calling them to try and fugure out what’s wrong with my FL-8 and they told me to call someone else. Terrible customer service. Sheesh!

    Awhile back there was some Marcum customer service complaints…Here is my story. I had a fL-18 that I had real good luck with, no issues. Then a few years back they were pushing the showdown real hard so i decided to sell my vex for the showdown. I really did not like the new unit but I figured that I had to live with it. Anyways come last season I had fully charged the battery and went to turn the unit on and nothing. Checked the fuse, battery, connections everything but the Showdown was dead. I called Marcum and spoke to Chris, he apologized for the inconvenience and offered to send me a LX3TC, I was ecstatic an took him up on his offer. it was like i had my vex back but better. I can say that I will b a marcum guy for life. GREAT customer care from this crew

    That is awesome! Ever find out what happened to the showdown or were you so pumped about the 3 you didn’t care.

    Sorry just saw this post now. Nothing is wrong with the unit itself, the gray case broke on me. Tore in 3 places and broke all 4 zippers in 2 outings. They sent me a sweet red soft pack on fri and I got it today. Should say the unit was out of warranty also by about 3 months… but I only used the case a couple times. Gray case was definitely a POS… red case is AWESOME. So is their customer service, they didn’t ask if I abused it or how it ripped and the zippers broke they just said “your new soft pack will ship tomorrow”.

    That is great! I really like the red soft pack.i never used one when I owned vex couldn’t see spending extra for it.now that I have the one that came with the lx5 I love it. Good to know your sonar had no issues.
