I had an issue with my 5 week old lx5 screen jumping all over the place 8 days ago. I brought it in to them 150 mi round trip and they determined the motor was bad. Yesterday I went to mille lacs after using it a few times around home with no issues, It started to jump out of control again right when I turned it on and hit zoom…. Was pretty bummed glad buddy had a spare flasher with. I called Marcum service this morning after 2 rings they pick up I tell them it was jumping and there was a delay in jig movement when jigging and he just asked for my address and said sorry the trip was ruined… He said shipping me a new head unit today and to just ship old one to him in same box with label they provide. He was suprised I had this issue again and I suggested switching to digital lx6 but he said they couldn’t do that through there. Anyway I am very pleased with how this was handled and look forward to using the new lx5. Great Customer service through MarCum (Versa).
