Just got done watching the show on the DVR, I spent 3 days up in Sturgeon Bay in the last week and I never got sick of catching those whitefish. I was also fortunate enough to put 8 walleye’s on the ice including a 6 and an 8-1/2 pounder. I caught the walleye in 22 feet of water and could see them come in and grab the jigging rap on the ones I caught when it was still light enough to see.

    Great show James and Paul!

The whitefish were a hoot and I’m looking forward to getting back out there with Paul in March to see about tangling with some of those late ice, pre-spawn giants Paul has a habit of posting towards the end of the season. I’d love to get some of those eyes on camera smoking baits but as you mentioned most of them come in during fading light so it might not be possible.

I’m hoping to get up there for the late ice as well, last year did not pan out with the early heat up.
