Auto Cam Panners…

    I did a search and not much came up that I could find so I thought I would get a little discussion going. I’m headed on a Perch trip in a few weeks and plan on using a cam (and panner) for the literally the first time! I’ve seen them on the ice and stuff but I actually have never “fished” with one so I decided that I from what I hear, I might as well get the auto cam panner right off the bat! Any of you “cam” users/pros have any input or tips or etc they want to share to “cam greenhorn”??? If I hate it or it becomes to much of a pain to setup all the time, there’s always the flasher!! TY

    the marcum panners don’t come with batteries, so bring a couple c batteries and a very small phillips screw driver

    Ty for the tip, Shane!!! Does the auto panner make finding your bait as easy as I think/hope it does???

    yes. it also makes good fun for following the pike that swims around got some good dvr footage of a pike just strolling by
