I just recently picked up my rods from Adam @TUCR. What I ordered was a 36″ precision split-grip and a 32″ precision noodle spilt-grip both with recoil guides and have used them for a week now.

What do I think about them? One word…WOW! Everything from the very sensitive rod blanks to the cork on the handles to the customer service. The rods @TUCR are made of high quality. With the spilt-grips, you can feel the subtle nudges your jig comes in contact with because of the added direct contact point you have with the blank. I usually hold my rods in a “pistol” or “pencil” grip and have the rod blank “sandwiched” between my thumb and pointer finger and am finding that it is more comfortable for me to hold then a standard tennessee handle. The split-grip fits my hand very well. I also have a precision with a standard handle and find myself grabbing the split grip first.

The guys over @TUCR are a great bunch and will help you find the perfect rod for you and your fishing style! Turn around time on a rod is anywhere from 2-3 weeks. Give Adam or one of the guys a call, you won’t be disappointed!

Love the split grip. I will never purchase another ice rod without the split grip.

I have a 32″ split grip precision noodle orderd, with the recoil guides also, and of course in the Chicago Bears Blue and Orange for the wraps. I should get it next week…CAN’T WAIT. X2 on the customer service. I ordered mine on a Sunday afternoon. Great company.

I got one at the Skeeter boat show and for whatever reason I can NOT get the skunk out of it! I have used it 2 times and have caught zero, zip, notta. I am not used to a sensitive tip like the TUC,might be that I am over jigging? I like the rod I just wish I could get some fish while using it! Paul

At the beggining of the year I decided to give TUC a try based on good things I was hearing from fellow IDO members. I started out with just a 36″ precision since I already had a full case of rods and didn’t NEED any new ones. After my first weekend using I was ready to sell all the old rods and fill my case with TUC’s! So far my collection stands at 3 as I added a 32″ noodle and another precision, 32″ split grip, and I’ve got a 36″ power precision on the way for fishing pike, browns, and blades for walters. If anyone’s looking for a tripwire, perch sweetheart, or walleye sweetheart let me know.

Three of my friends who fish I fish with have also picked up precisions. And I’ve already started talking to them about what kind of soft water rods they have to offer; as good as their ice fishing line is I can’t wait to find out!

My collection also stands at 3 and am debating if I should take the plunge on another. I’m wanting that Quick Tip!

32″ Precision and 30″ Noodle for me, loving them both so far.

Hopefully they will make a rod comparable to the TB Quiverstick… Once they do I will own it. Also would like a 40+ inch glass laker stick. Anyone know if they do these?

From the sound of it, the Quick Tip should fill that void. I’ve also heard they’re in the process of a making a laker rod. Can’t wait

I am making a trip up to Superior this weekend and talked to Adam about what they have for Lakers and they do have exacly what it sounds like you’re looking for. Unfortunatly with the sad news coming out last weekend and not good reports about the ice I doubt I will most likely end up giving it a test run on some Browns instead of lakers.
