My phone loads pics sideways here for some reason . The only one handed push up he can do is the little ice cream things called push ups

The guys at Joe’s were saying they’ve been the killer bait on the Croix this winter.

Jesse, give us a run down on how u work the SS. I know a ton of guys down here on the river who own them but don’t use them enuff(me included) Seems like our main search bait is a cecil or big mic. Guess I’m a little too impatient

I have had 4-1/16 oz. Slender Spoons lurking in my tackle box waiting for the right situation. One factor that causes me to hesitate is the fact that I can’t just slip a SS on the Fast Snap I use with my other vertical lures.
So Saturday I was being pestered by small gills. I took the time to retie the cross lok snap on and slipped the Slender Spoon in the hole. And……just kept right on catching small gills, oh and one of those lovely bass. But my fears that a SS might be too big for panfish were allayed.

I was swiftly lifting them (not ripping them) from near the bottom up about 2′ then let it flutter back down until I had a fishes attention then it was a slight jig/jiggle of a 1/4 to a 1/2 in. while slow-slow-slowly raising the bait until BAM !!! Fish on

With $7 shipping plus tax if you are in Iowa. I’m 45 minutes away from them and they charged me $7 to ship a $0.88 padded envelope with 3 packs of plastics in it.

I couldn’t make it there and back for $7. Plus they do not have a retail store so I’d have to hit up scheels which I hate doing…

Luckily James was nice enough to send me a birthday present so I didnt have to spend the $7 shipping to order some slenders!

We have a Flat $6.00 shipping charge on all orders under $80.00 ( Free over 80) , clearly stated ( not hidden), as we send everything Priority Mail in a box ( protection and trackable ) and we don’t send anything in an “.88 padded envelope” when we charge you shipping. If we make an error and send something out or if we do a special deal for someone we might. So I’d appreciate if you’d at least post accurate info. Not to be snippy but if a newbie is reading this they might get wrong info.

Jesse, same thing happened to me the other day on Rush Lake. I was crushing the perch and walleye and my buddy wasn’t… I decided to share my stash of Slender Spoons, he then started bringing the fish in…

I fish my first slender spoons yesterday. I changed out the hook to a single one. Tipped it with a piece of bait. Two drops 2 minuets apart 2 nice bass.
