My dad just bought one 2 weeks ago because he he’s 71 w/ asthma and couldn’t handle the lazermax in the house. We were skeptical at 1st, but kevin from reeds said, try it out for weekend and bring back if not happy. We were thrilled. Took it up for two weekends at red, it worked flawlessly. We did over 40 holes on 1 charge. it does have a slight delay when you pull the trigger, but when it kicks in it works great. very cool. He just sold his gas unit.

I am with the above post. All I can say is…SWEET! One negative, I’m not a huge fan of the trigger since you have to push two buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 secs before the auger engages, but that is minor. We drilled at least 30 holes on one charge and it was still going strong (18 inches of ice). No fumes inside permanent shacks. Drills fast, quiet, and is light to carry. I would recommend the extension with it however since it is designed a bit shorter than gas augers. I would buy one without hesitation…that is if I wasn’t married.
