whos got the skinny on where to go, what to use, or any tips. im thinking north point of 9 mile, just off of it. we’ll be there at day break. im thinking big rainbows because i just prefer using rainbows. ill grab some shiners too because i watched the video when the guys were closer to garrison. its hard to convince myself that im should grab suckers too but i might as well try em.. if nothing else i can eat em.. we’re looking forward to the weekend hope to see yall up there.. any pointers/ideas/sarcasam’s are always helpful and appreciated. thanks.. I will be heading up from eau claire friday. Staying at Garrisons Inn I think, my buddy and our two 6 yr old boys are going to out somewhere. Never have fished Mille Lacs before, so if anyone goes by a Quickfish 4 that will be us. Any pointers will be much appreciated. Are there public landings by Garrisons. Thanks

Yes there is a public access in Garison but when I was up there two weeks go there was a pretty good Hieve n kinda sketchy getting out. How ever there are two other accesses a mile north n a few miles south of garrison on 169. But its always smart to at least check in at the local shops to get the DL on the ice. As for fishing web I was up there we stayed shallow on the weeds n did great. But with the colder weather I woul look deep to mud gravel transitions. Good luck!
