    any reports for maiden rock or frontenac area should be real good ice

    went out last night.. 12″ of ice seen one full size truck half mile upriver from frontnac on mn side! this is where i cut hole and measured 12″

    had two good waves of fish come threw but they didnt last long..

    Still only 12 inches? I was thinking we had to be getting close to 15-16 inches. Your measurement was in the channel though?
