I’m awaiting my LX-9 that should be here any day and have a question for those that already have it in hand. I know they ship with the 9ah battery. Unfortunately, I didn’t measure my battery in my 625 camera before I sold it.

I have 12 ah batteries that are:
    Length 5.95″ 151 mm
    Width 3.86″ 98 mm
    Height 3.70″ 94 mm
I just want to make sure they fit in the case or I’ll need to sell them and replace with batteries that are compatible.

I think you’re a little wide to fit the case. All other dimensions are close.

I just measured a 9ah out of my 7 and it measures 2 1/2 in.

    in width.

I’m assuming the 7 and 9 use the same shuttle.

And I assumed all craftsmen measured in feet and inches.

I’ve read that a 12ah will fit, but not in the holder. It has to sit catawampus (<– word of the day) and be secured with the strap.

The 7 and 9 do take the same battery.Marcum told me to keep my battery when I sent the 7 to get it upgraded.
I would like to see a bigger(more AH’s)battery, the 9 seems to eat the battery more then I am used to.

Perfectionists use calipers, micrometers and dial indicators… 1/1,000″
And then there is AR= 1/10,000″
