Lake Winnebago and winds/Ice damage

    Came across these pics on WI outdoor fun. When the 50+ mph winds hit Winnebago, the ice sheet cracked and moved east. Along the east shoreline, areas had ice breaking up and getting pushed up on shore and into the roads.

    Yeah it sucks for those of us that access the lake from the west shore, there is a 100 foot of open water now that is not freezing up due to the winds, and we are finally having great ice making temps!

    Looks like another 50 cars will go in the drink this year at Gilespies perch extravaganza
