I hit the ice looking for a few nice perch for dinner tonight and the perch didnt disappoint. From 3pm to 5pm I caught around 20 from 5″ up to 12.5″ I kept 6 for dinner and let the rest swim for another day. There is around 17″ of ice where I was fishing. Most of the perch hit on a gold / glow slender spoon with wax worms and a few came on a dead stick. There out on the mud flats in 30′ of water eating the worms in the mud also eating small sunfish.
