I sold my LX5 today because I saw a store (don’t know if I can say the name, don’t want any PM’s from the moderator) had the LX6 on sale for $549. Went to the website to order and as luck would have it….Sold out!! Anyone know of any good deals or sales out there on a LX-6???

No intent to hijack this, but it is a bit concerning that there is fear of posting a companies name that is offering a good deal – even if it isn’t a site sponsor. I personally believe in in giving them an opportunity to match price (given that it is in stock). A quick phone call can do wonders. Over the last couple years, I know a few sponsors have jumped on the opportunity to try to salvage a deal. Possibly not meet the price 100%, but your also knowing that your spending money with a company that has a great reputation for customer service.
But James & Co. have been outstanding in allowing people voice their experiences and findings of comperable companies and products. The only exception I have seen is when repeated shameless plugs are made that are obvious advertising Vs. sharing a good deal. Plus, if its posted here and ligament, one of the sponsors may want to know about it and offer to match. But there is no need to be fearful of sharing a good deal.

Randy’s right. We don’t want to stop people from sharing, we encourage it. We know when someone is trying to get some free pub versus one angler trying to help another. So PLEASE, when you know of a good deal, hear of great customer service or have thoughts on products… SHARE them!

Dont forget to add or subtract tax when doing in state vs out of state orders. I love out of state and free shipping… Most times I dont even have to leave my house to save big $$$.
