Recently found a few of my dads old ice rods, which are way to old and stiff to be used for anything today, but they have a similar reel system to that of the Frabill Jiggler rod. My plan is to cut off the existing rods and replace them with long hollow blanks in essence making my own version of the Jiggler. Does anyone know where I can find ultralight action hollow/tubular rod blanks that would be about 40 inches and up? If so please share. Thanks a bunch.

Yup, call Bill Pulk at Midwest Rod and Reel and order E-Glass SPG-60 blanks. (612)-720-5268. These are terrific thru rod blanks, and…..put some single foot fly rod guides on and a 4.5 tip a cork handle and a schooley reel and you can long rod hole hop and still fight a bass without losing your lure.
