Im thinking of getting away from the St.Croix for a couple days, and really would like to find some big crappies! I was thinking somewhere north of the metro a bit. Would also like to play with some tip ups! Any advice would be great.
Gonna try Poskin tomorrow, and maybe Big Round an the PM if that does not “pan” out. Pun intended. 
dont bother with largon, supposedly has decent fish due to a 1 fish 32″ min regulation, not a single flag in 5 hours. once I got bored I went to a lake a bit south from largon that gets its face pounded in and had fun chasing sub 24″ers until the sun went down.

yeah, there was a a group of old guys out there before us off to the left too, 9 tipups for them, zero flags also.
