    That Crappies like #5 Swedish Pimples tipped with a Rainbow?
    I was fishing for Walleye when a school of these moved through & devoured everything in sight. Lasted about 10 minutes. Largest was 15″ and smallest was 13″. Did land a couple of Eyes, the one in the pic is 16″.

    That is superb! Right place, right time BINGO! Were the crappies up higher than the eyes or about same depth?

    The Crappie were right on the floor & at least 2″ above. We didn’t have a flasher but did have the camera going and they came through and literally hit every (4) line we had in the water, over & over, which were all within 2″ of the bottom. The Walleye would not hit unless the minnow & jig were lying on the bottom with the minnow twitching. A bizarre evening indeed.
