Take a look at this site. Brand new normal camera $125.00. 360 deg. camera $200.00. I have not been able to verify but have herd the main company is the same as cuddeback trail cams.

Me personally would go with a unit I could use in the boat so my biggest consideration is being sunlight viewable. I use my Marcum more in the summer then winter in the boat. Good Luck

Did some looking and cabelas unit looks nothing like it. I own a marcum and think they have great stuff. But every body lives on different size budgets. I have not found any negative feed back about these and only feedback that people have purchased them and cant wait to use them.

Here is one of the blogs I have found that had the most info outside of the co.whistling:

Cabelas sold one like that 1 or 2 years ago, it had terrible customer feedback, most had issues with the lens leaking and the rotating functionality stopped working…

So with the given suggested models, which would be the best for summer use behind the boat?

get the cheapest black & white Marcum LCD camera, not sure of the model number? but there are several for sale on craigslist for $300, could probably negotiate down to $275ish..
