I’m going to have to give this Strikemaster 4 stroke “Strikelite” two thumbs up. This auger is running precisely how I hoped a 4 stroke would with a Honda head. I also have to note that Strikemaster really has the pitch right on these augers. It simply cuts deeply on each turn of the auger. For guys looking to upgrade augers……I’d suggest it.

How many times do you prime it?

I do it until the bulb is full of gas. Normally this takes 2 or 3 primes.

Do you, or have you turned a 10″ bit with it? I believe it has the composite gears and I wonder how it would turn a big bit?

    I have both a 8 and 10. Haven’t had a problem with either.

I have a older Strike Lite and the only problem I have had is it starts hard. Not sure what to do. Whats it is running I love the thing.

I currently run a 2.5 Solo. I’m really considering upgrading to this one. Would you choose it over the Solo?
